Submissions Open January 1st, 2025
We are thrilled to announce that submissions will open on January 1st, 2025. The festival is open to all filmmakers, but we are placing a special emphasis on films made in Maine by Maine filmmakers. Whether you’re an established filmmaker or just starting out, this is your chance to showcase your work and compete for awards and prizes in various categories.
Special Guests and Q&A Sessions
In addition to the incredible films, Chaos Film Festival will feature special guests, including filmmakers and industry professionals. These guests will participate in Q&A sessions following select screenings, offering a unique opportunity to dive deeper into the creative process and engage with the artists behind the films.

We are actively seeking local sponsors to support this year’s event. The Chaos Film Festival is seeking enthusiastic volunteers to help bring this year’s event to life. Volunteers will have the unique opportunity to be involved in all aspects of the festival, from event coordination to guest services. It’s a great chance to gain hands-on experience, meet fellow film enthusiasts, and contribute to the success of a dynamic community event.
